What I’ve Learnt from Medium Blogging
My top tips for beginning writers – after having blogged my life for almost a year
- People really love to search ocean vuong’s name (I get new reads for that article almost every day! It’s not even my best work!)
- People really love hearing about my love life – those posts are what I get the most comments/ private messages on (funny because what I have wouldn’t even really qualify as a love life but rather me getting overly attached to casual flirters hehe)
- Friends who read your medium articles are the only ones really worth keeping around. #supportive
- I still don’t really know a whole lot about this but if there’s one thing I’ve learnt from my time on medium, the kinds of articles that do the best are the ones talking about how to do well on medium. it’s true. the most-read medium articles are catered to increasing/ monetising your medium readership. so this was just clickbait.
